Does your iron have a temperature gauge?

Do you know why it is so important to have one with a temperature setting?

Here are the 3 main reasons:

1. Peace Of Mind
You should be able to manually set the temperature that you want your iron to be at based off of your hair’s texture and density

✨ Someone with very thin and fine hair should not be using the same amount of heat as someone with very thick or course hair

2. Inconsistent Heat
Without a temperature gauge, theres no way of knowing if your iron is staying at the same temp while you're using it. This could cause you to hold the iron in one place for too long resulting in heat damage

3. YOU ARE COOKING YOUR HAIR 🥵
If your iron doesn’t have a temperature setting, there is a very good chance that it is automatically set to heat up to over 425F which is way too hot for everyday use! (Your iron’s should not be set any higher than 350F for daily use)

So when it comes to buying new irons, I will not buy it if it doesn’t have a temperature gauge.

My recommendation for settings is
•250 for fine, thin hair
•300-325 for thick, coarse hair

SUPERWATER- spray on towel dried hair and scalp. Full of antioxidants. Moisturizes, balances and protects. I spray on my face before applying my makeup as well💋

SET SPRAY and JELLY: use a dime size of jelly and 2 sprays of set spray, rub together in hands and apply roots to end. Gives volume while protecting your hair✨

BALM: use a dime size of balm and 2 sprays of superwater, rub together and apply mids to end sections.

Air dry or blow dry and voila 💫 voluminous, shiny hair ✨

All packaging is made to be reused so when you're done, just come into the salon for a refill. There's no way we can throw away these bottles. They're way too pretty 😍

Yesterday she came in for a second treatment.

•no color/toner/bleach
•no serums
•no style aids

Her hair condition is improving 🤩

This product is DIFFERENT, but if you stick with it I promise it works 💫

We don't need so many products on our hair.
When you shift your mindset it actually makes a lot of sense.
Why do you think we have to switch products so much when we feel like it's "not working" anymore. We are layering crap on our hair, it sticks to the strands and after a while you need a haircut cause your ends are dry, frizzy and frazzled.

I get asked often why I started doing scalp treatments and my answer is because so many people suffer from scalp issues and they need help🤍

Hair loss is a big one. But also, dry, itchy, oily and bigger problems after that.

I don't want anyone to have to just "deal" with it, I don't want anyone to have to try every different product on the shelf for it to just work for a little while and then the issues come back.

They're not the prettiest pictures I can put on my feed but the amount of joy I feel after a guest comes back and tells me how much relief they have after being consistent with the products, when I'm SEEING actual new growth and the quality of their hair is better...
